I am 7 weeks pregnant today! I weighed in this morning at 131. I was a little relieved because I have been eating really bad lately. There usually isn't much that sounds good, so I have been eating anything that sounds good. We have had a lot of parties to go to this past weekend so that never helps anything either. I have been feeling really bloated lately also. Maybe I can get rid of some of that before I get weighed tomorrow. My boobs have been a little more sore lately. I have been feeling really nauseous in the late afternoons and early evenings. This past weekend I would lay down and take a short nap and when I woke up I would feel much better. If I don't eat as soon as I wake up I start gagging. Brushing my teeth is getting harder also. My gag reflexes are super sensitive right now. I have been really tired in the early evening also. Even when I haven't hardly done anything all day. I do think some of that is from the heat and the sun though. I need to start eating several small meals throughout the day. I think my stomach is having a hard time digesting everything when I eat a ton at once. I am going to try and work on that. Tomorrow we will have our first ultra sound at 8:20 in the morning. I am so nervous that everything isn't going to be okay. After the ultrasound if everything goes okay then I will meet with the nurse practitioner.

Exausted
The last few days I have been feeling so exhausted. I don't remember ever feeling this exhausted with my last two pregnancies. I remember feeling a little more tired than usual, but this is just pure exhaustion that I feel right now. I slept for almost 12 hours when I woke up on Sunday and with in a few hours I was so tired. Some of this could be from the heat we have been having also. Today I also started feeling just a little bit queazy where nothing really sounded good to eat and it felt like my food is stuck in my throat. That makes me feel a little bit better. Some strong smells are starting to bother me just a little bit now also. These are all good signs! I can't wait for my appointment next week. I hope it is all good news! Alisann is also getting induced that morning if she doesn't go before then. She is dilated 3 cm and is 80% effaced. I think she will go in the next couple of days. I don't see how she could possibly hold off until next week. I just hope that whenever she goes I am able to be there.

6 Weeks
I am six weeks today. I weighed in this morning at 129. I do feel a little nauseated this morning since I haven't ate anything yet. My boobs are still sore , but not unbearable. I have been having lower back pain for the past week. It gets really bad when I stand on my feet for very long. I still am having cramping. It started yesterday morning and went off and on through out the day and night. Everything I have read says this is normal. I am trying so hard not to worry, but I can't help but be terrified. Alisann and I are taking the boys to Holiday World today for the first time. I am hoping that this will take my mind off things for awhile. One more week until we go to the doctor I hope it goes by fast. I really need to know something one way or the other. I know that even if everything looks okay on the ultra sound that it still doesn't mean I am in the clear. I do think I will feel better if all the timing matches up right. Last time when I did this I should have been almost 8 weeks and the ultra sound showed me to be just a couple of days past six weeks. I think that right there was a sign that the baby wasn't developing properly. I knew I had ovulated later that month, but to be over 10 days off was just a little too much. Now that I look back on everything.

Feeling Worried
I woke up this morning and I started worrying again. I had cramping like I was going to start my period and I didn't feel sick and my boobs don't seem to be hurting as bad. I started having a bad gut feeling like something is wrong like last time. Then I think maybe I am being overly paranoid. Everything have read says that symptoms don't really start until your sixth week which would be next week for me. I also read that it is totally normal to have cramping in the beginning. I haven't had any spotting, but I never had any last time either. I can't help, but feel totally discouraged now though. I can't wait to have that first ultra sound just so I can know one way or the other. I must say right now I have a bad feeling. Maybe tomorrow will I feel differently. I just want everything to be okay so bad.

Morning Sickness
Morning sickness has come on strong the last couple of days and especially this morning. I got up took my prenatal vitamin and got in the shower. I felt a little queasy when I first got up and once I got out of the shower I felt really bad. I started to make the bed and a huge wave of nausea hit and I ran to the bathroom and puked 3 or 4 times. I think some of this had to do with taking my prenatal vitamin on an empty stomach. regardless I have been feeling a little more sick everyday. I hope this puking thing doesn't become part of my morning routine. Although the sickness does help me feel better on things going okay with the baby. Now that I have puked I do feel a little better. I am going to start taking my prenatal vitamin at night instead of first thing in the morning.

Results
I got the official results on my hcg levels and they were 2507. They said that was good because they had doubled and that is what they were looking for. I was a little concerned because I was thinking that they should double each day so I was figuring for them to be in the four thousands. I asked her about this and she said that they just needed to double not triple. She set me up for my next appointment on June 1. I will have an ultra sound and meet with the nurse practitioner. This is when I should be able to see a heartbeat like last time. Then I will have another appointment probably 4 weeks after that. I hope I will not have to wait that long. I am hoping they will schedule something around 9 weeks since this is when I miscarried last time. I guess no matter what they do it won't change the outcome either way. I am trying to stay busy to help keep my mind off of worrying. I am feeling more sick in the evenings and tired. Strong smells are starting to bother me also. These are all good signs, but then again I had these all the last time also.
More Blood Tests
I went first thing yesterday morning to have another blood test done to check to make sure my hcg levels are still rising appropriately. Unfortunately when they called back yesterday afternoon to give me my results I was with a client and couldn't answer the phone. They left a message saying that things looked good and I needed to call them back as soon as possible because they needed to talk to me and they needed to set up some more appointments. By the time I had a chance to listened to the message their office was already closed. I am calling first thing this morning to get the details of the results yesterday and to see what the next appointments will be about. I am really glad they are watching me so closely, but I have been a stressed out nervous wreck all week long. There are times when I start to have a little relief and then most of the time I feel like I am going to have a heart attack because I am so scared. I really don't think there is anything I can do to make me feel better until after I make it out of the first trimester. Even then I won't be totally worry free. I know I worried a lot when I was pregnant with Christian the whole time. I just always hear so many horror stories of things that happen anytime during the pregnancy and even the first couple years after. I have a lot of faith in God, but for some reason that doesn't help me relax. I pray all the time that everything will be okay, but I still worry almost non-stop. There are so many people I know that are pregnant right now (3 other people in Jason's family and then my sister still is. The people in Jason's family are all in there first trimester still also) and I am also worry for them that everything will go okay. I really need to find away to relax and not stress so much. Maybe once the sun starts shining again it will help put me in a more positive mood.

More Results
I just got the call back on my hcg levels. They said they are rising appropriately and are looking great. On Friday my levels were at a 226 and on Monday they were over a thousand. They said they want me to come in one more time to have this done just to make sure they are still rising. I am going in first thing on Wednesday morning to have the blood work done. Hopefully after that they will set up my first appointment. I am really hoping that they do an ultrasound on the first one again like last time and I definitely hope that they check me at around 9 weeks just to make sure, I really don't want to have to go those extra two weeks without knowing anything like last time. I'm sure I will know more about all that when I hear back from them on Wednesday!
Starting To Relax
I am starting to relax just a little bit. Last night when Jason was cooking dinner I started to feel just a little bit queasy. It definitely isn't into full blown morning sickness yet, but it is still a good sign. My boobs are starting to feel a little bit more sore everyday. When I woke up this morning I felt even a little bit more nauseous. It helped hearing from the doctor that my progesterone level was really good and now I am waiting to hear if my hcg levels are rising like they should. I have also been more tired than usual. I have the hardest time keeping my eyes open during a movie. I just really want to get past this first trimester. I am really nervous for the 9th week, because that is when the baby's heart stopped beating last time. I just keep praying that every thing will be okay and the more symptoms that I have the better I feel.

Results
I got the results back from the doctor this morning. I didn't hear anything from them right away. By quarter after 9 I couldn't take it any more and decided to cal myself to see if they had the results yet. They told me they had them but that the nurse had to talk to the doctor before she could call me. I just knew that this had to be bad. I figured if everything was okay then they would just tell me. I called my mom and Alisann and totally freaked out to both of them. By 10 the nurse called me and told me that my hcg level confirming that I am pregnant. My progesterone level was a 54. They said this was great. They were really only looking for it to be at least 15. I was really excited to hear that! They told me to come back in today and have more blood taken to see if my hcg levels are progressing normally. I hurried and went in right away and they said they should call sometime this afternoon. I am so relieved to hear all this. I will feel even better this afternoon once I hear if it is good news or not. I know I will be overly paranoid these next two months until I am out of my first trimester. I think I have 8 more weeks to go! I am trying to keep myself busy, but it is impossible not to think about it.

5 Weeks (One Month)
I am 5 weeks pregnant today! I weighed myself this morning and I weighed 129. I am going to keep track each week of my weight so I can make sure and keep my weight gain under control. So far I still don't have hardly any symptoms. My boobs are a little sore and I have had just the slightest bit of nausea in the mornings. It us nothing like what I am used to though. I have been just a little bit more tired lately also. I know it is still early for symptoms, but I will feel a lot better once I start seeing/feeling more signs.

Telling Our Parents
I feel kind of bad, but I really didn't want to make a big deal about announcing this like I did last time in case things don't work out. I simply just told my mom when I dropped off Christian yesterday morning. I warned her a head of time not to get emotional and not to make a big deal about it. Then I told her how I took a test over at Alisann's and it was positive and that I had a doctors appointment after work. Of course she cried, but she did try to not get too emotional over it. I told her not to tell anybody anything. I guess she thought that included my dad also. I told her after my doctor's appointment that I didn't care if she told dad. I really didn't want to be the one to do it anyway. Dad gets awkward with this kind of stuff and so do I. I told Jason he could call his mom, but to tell her not to tell anyone but his dad. When Jason called his Mom she was working on making some t- shirts. Jason asked who she was making them for and she told him for her grandkids, Kyle, Hannah and Christian. Jason asked ''what about the other one?'' and she said, "What other one?" and Jason told her the one coming in January! It was pretty clever how he played it out. I wish I could have thought to at least done that with my parents, but I am just too scared. They both were excited for us also. I know I will regret doing this if everything ends up being okay, but right now I just didn't have it in me to do it any other way. I think to make up for not making a big deal out of telling people the big news now we will do a big thing when we find out what it is. If we make it that far. I hate to feel so negative, but I am just really nervous this time. Hopefully I will feel better in a couple of weeks.
Doctors Appointment
I went to the doctor yesterday afternoon. This time they want to check my levels every so often too make sure things are going smoothly and to give me more peace of mind. They took my blood to check my hcg levels and my progesterone levels. They want me to have at least a 15 on my progesterone to show that I am having a healthy pregnancy. The bad thing is that I won't find out until Monday morning what they are. I think this is making me more anxious than if I just didn't know. Now I am waiting all weekend to see if there is something wrong. I still don't have really any symptoms of being pregnant which make me nervous. I think they usually start more by the six week and I will be five weeks on Monday!

Telling Jason
Jason got home from work today a little after 4:00. I was on my lap top blogging when he came in the back door. I had left the pregnancy test sitting on the dining room table. I wasn't doing it on purpose I just left it there. He came in and I hurried and jumped up to go tell him. When I walked in the room he was holding the test and he looked up at me with a questioning look on his face. I told him then that I was pregnant. My exact words were, "Well, I'm pregnant". He said, "really!" I explained about taking the test at Alisann's and that I had just found out. He gave me a big hug and was so excited! He had just told me Saturday night that he really really wanted another baby so bad and that he has actually been praying for it. Jason is not one to really ever pray if that tells you anything. He is also a little scared, but that is to all be expected. Hopefully having more doctor appointments this first trimester will help make us both feel better.
Positive
On Sunday morning I woke up and it was Mother's Day. I figured what the heck I might as well take a pregnancy test. I knew it was still way to early, but I had some hope! I should have known better than to think I would have that kind of good luck. The test came back negative. I was mildly disappointed, but I knew I still had a chance. I had used the last of my tests the morning and I decided I was going to wait until Saturday morning to take a test. Well, today Alisann and I drove to Louisville to help move John into his new apartment. On the way home Alisann asked if I had taken any tests and I told her about Sunday. She said she had some extra tests at home that she had been meaning to give and to remind her when we got there and she would give them to me. Lucky for me I remembered when we got there and I actually had to pea pretty bad. I figured what the heck I might as well pee on the stick and see what happens. She had two of them anyways. Sure enough I peed on the stick and it turned positive almost immediately. Except I had no idea what it was supposed to look like because it was different than what I normally use. I was hollering through the door at Alisann asking her what it looks like if it is positive. She said it has a plus sign on it. Sure enough there was a plus sign! I instantly was excited and scared. I am so worried that I am going to have to go through what I went through last time and I just don't want to go through that again. The whole way home I had told Alisann that I didn't feel pregnant at all and normally I have a feeling or there is more signs. I have had none of that so far! That alone makes me a little nervous. I already called the doctor when I got home and They set me up for an appointment tomorrow afternoon to get blood work. They are going to monitor me a little closer this time to help me relax. I haven't even told my husband that I am pregnant yet. I am going to tell him as soon as he gets home. I will call my sister Becky tomorrow after my appointment and tell her. I would like to tell my Grandma Folz next before we tell anyone else. Then we are going to tell our immediate families and that is all until after the first trimester. I am definitely not making the mistake of telling my clients again. That was a nightmare to live through. According to my last period my due date will be January 17, 2011. That means I am 4 weeks pregnant! I think what did it this time was that I was so sure I wasn't going to be pregnant that I just ordered this morning a bunch of stuff from Vera Bradley thinking I wouldn't need that money for at least another month. Oh well that's what I get. Instead of it being a sympathy present to myself for not being pregnant it is now a congratulatory present for being pregnant. I have brilliant ways to justify all my shopping sprees. I hope and pray that everything works out okay this time.

Trying, Trying, Trying
Well, Jason and I tried all week while we were on vacation! I should be able to find out something sometime next week. I will say I don't have a positive feeling about this time for some reason. I don't know if it is because I haven't been counting days as much and watching for signs as much. We pretty much just did it every other day for 10 or 12 days straight. I actually am fine with it if it doesn't happen this month. Probably since I didn't put as much thought and effort into it. I won't be as disappointed when it doesn't happen. I am going to try and have this same outlook every month until it does happen. I am keeping myself as busy as possible to help keep my mind off of things. On thing that is good is that we have a lot going on this month so that should help pass the time. Alisann is getting induced on June 1st. I am so excited to have another baby nephew to play with and hold!
