This post may be more information than necessary, but oh well. I finally stopped bleeding on Saturday. They told me I would have light bleeding for a couple of days and then a week later it may start again for a couple of days. Well mine never stopped! It took exactly two weeks for it to quit and it was a little more than light bleeding the whole time. I asked the doctor about it at my appointment and she seemed to think it was normal as long as I wasn't having severe cramps and lots of bleeding. I am just relieved to have finally stopped. This means that now my body is resetting and getting back to normal. I am hoping to have a period by beginning of March, but it may not happen until the middle of March since my cycles are usually longer. I am trying not too stress because that only makes my cycles worst. We will see what happens! Keep your fingers crossed that this goes quickly.

Two Week Doctors Appointment
Today I went for my 2 week check up from my D & C. Everything looked really good the doctor said and she asked if Jason and I were going to start trying right away. I told her that we were and she said to wait to have one normal period first. I asked her when she thought that might be and she said probably by mid March. She said to call if I haven't started by then. She also said that I should call as soon as I get a positive pregnancy test. She wants to do blood work and monitor things more closely to make me feel more confident. She said there wouldn't have been anything she could have done, nor will there be anything she can do if the same thing happens again, but she just want me to feel as relaxed as possible. She will do an ultrasound at six weeks for the heartbeat and monitor my hormone levels the first trimester. I know it is going to take forever again to get pregnant because my cycles are so messed up and the more I stress the worst they are and I have never been more stressed about wanting to get pregnant than I am now. It will probably be another year at the rate I am going. I am trying to keep myself busy, but I am already getting very anxious. I will say I have gotten a lot of things done around the house trying to keep my mind off of things. At the rate I am going though I want have anything left to keep me occupied after March. At least then it will be nice out and there are so many things that we enjoy doing as a family outside that will keep us busy.

Ready To Get Back On Track
I am so ready to get things back on track and to start trying again. I am afraid it is going to take awhile. I have been talking to lots of people and googling up a storm and it seems like it takes a lot of people almost 3 months to have a normal period again. I have to wait until I have one normal period before we can start trying. I go to the doctor on Thursday for my two week check up after the D & C. I am going to ask her what I can do to get my periods more regular. I read somewhere that if you have longer than 30 day cycles you can be at a higher risk for miscarriage because your egg could be old. I am going to ask her about this also since my cycles have been more like 37 - 44 days instead 0f 30 days. It may not matter but I can't help myself for trying to find a reason for all of this. I could understand if there never was a heartbeat or had I not already had a healthy pregnancy. This just makes no sense to me at all. I am a healthy 28 year old and I just don't understand why our baby would just die after 9 weeks. I want an explanation more than that it could have been a chromosomal problem. I know I will never know for sure, but I just would like some advice for the next pregnancy and I really hope we don't have to try for another six months. I hope the next time it goes quickly and healthily.
