14 Weeks

I am 14 weeks pregnant today! I weighed in at 135 lbs. this morning. I would love to go back to the doctor and not have gained any weight this go around or better yet to lose a pound or two. I know that won't happen especially since the fall festival is the week before my appointment. I am starting to pooch out some more. I am still wearing all my regular clothes, but they are getting a little snug in the waist. I am going to have to break out the belle band before too long. I hate this stage where I just look fat and I really look fat because my stomach still has extra flab from Jax. I have to say it is pretty disgusting. I am so scared to see how bad my stomach will look after this third one, especially since it is so close to Jax. I am going to have to find some safe stomach exercises to do while I am pregnant. I have always heard that sit ups aren't good to do because it puts strain on the uterus. I am going to talk to Dr. Leinenbach at my appointment and see what she says. I have been walking at tristate and I really need to start back with yoga again. My overall sickness has gotten some better. I did throw up Saturday morning. I think it had more to do with not having anything in my stomach. I also I might have had a bit of a virus because starting Thursday afternoon and all the way until Saturday morning I had to go to the bathroom constantly. Anything I ate just went straight through me. I finally took some pepto bismal on Friday night and I took it all weekend while we were shopping and that helped some, but it didn't clear it up all the way. Even this morning I still have a touch of it. I haven't run a fever or anything so I am hoping that everything is okay and this is something more serious than a little bug. I am still not really wanting steak, but it doesn't sound bad anymore. Onions and green peppers aren't sounding good either. I normally get sandwiches loaded up, but lately I have been skipping the onions. I am also a little sensitive too garlic. I normally love a ton of garlic on things, but now I like just a little bit. I have been loving salty things and sweet things. I have to say I have been eating not so good also. I need to get that back on track. Jason and I both have been a little lazy in the cooking department, so we have been eating a lot of frozen or boxed type meals instead of fresh meals. One good thing that I have been craving is salads. I haven't ate a ton of them, but they do sound good. I also drink a lot of milk. I always love milk when I am pregnant. I have been sleeping a little better this week than I was. I finally decided to turn our air conditioner on and turn it down to 69 degrees. I sleep so much better when it is cold rather than hot. I haven't been waking up near as much since I have done this. I am sure I will be hating myself once I get the Vectren bill, but right now it feels great and I am sleeping so much better. I am so torn on what I think I am having this time. One minute I thin girl and the next I think boy. I am really hoping to be able to find out on October 27th. Jason and I are still no closer on a boys first name. We can not agree on anything. I do want the name to end with a 'n' since Jason, Christian, and Jaxson's names all end with an 'n'. I am really looking forward to the gender reveal party! I picked up the baby boy and the baby girl attachments for my Happy Everything platter for the party. I am going to borrow Alisann's platter so I can have one on each. I am still trying to decide for sure how we are all going to find out. Alisann had some neat ideas that I am thinking about doing. It will be fun and exciting no matter what! We have anywhere from 4-7 weeks before we find out!

13 Weeks Second Trimester

I m 13 weeks pregnant today! Hello second trimester! I weighed in this week at 134 lbs. I can't tell if I m starting to show a tiny bit or if it is just bloating and fat. I do feel like some of my clothes are getting tighter around the waist and that I constantly have a pooch no matter what. I feel like it is still a little too early to be showing, but maybe since this baby is so close with Jax I am going to start showing earlier. I have been feeling much better as far as the nausea goes. I still have the whole 'nothing sounds good' problem some and if I eat too much or don't eat every so often I feel sick, but overall I have been feeling better. I feel like when I do eat I eat so much in order to feel full and I really need to watch this because I end up feeling sick and i know I am consuming way too many calories. It's like when I am pregnant I am a bottomless pit and I will consume 3 times the normal amount of food that i should. My working out has sporadic. I have been going 1- 2 times a week but I really need to go more like 3-4 times. I have just felt so awful that laying on the couch is about the best I can do some days. Now that I am feeling better I am going to try and get in a better routine. One thing that I have to say that is really different this time is that I have not been craving steak. In fact steak really doesn't even sound good to me. When I first found out I was pregnant I craved it once and after that It has not sounded the least bit good to me. Also anything with a strong scent or taste kind of turns me away. I normally love garlic and onions but If my food has a lot of garlic or strong onions on it I can't even begin to eat it. I really haven't had a specific craving yet other than milk. I drink a ton of milk. I have done this with all of my pregnancies. One minute I will crave something and then the next minute I will crave something else. I was like this with Jax throughout most of my pregnancy. I have been thinking about the gender reveal party more. I am thinking I would like to do a Sunday brunch if I don't find out until November. This means that I wouldn't have it until November 20th. If I get to find out at 18 weeks then we will do a Thursday evening after people get off work. If this is when we do it then I will probably do chili, hot dogs and haystacks for the meal. I think I am going to fill a box of balloons and then open the box and the balloons will come out either pink for girl or blue for boy to reveal what it is. I really liked the pinata idea but I think it might be to difficult to have done without anybody knowing what it is. I go back and forth all the time on what I think it is I feel like there are a lot things this time that could point to a girl, but I also feel like there are a lot of things that point to a boy. Jason thinks it is going to be a girl for sure. I kind of am leaning towards a boy more than a girl. I honestly don't care either way. We will have at least one more after this one so we will have another chance at a girl if this one is a boy and I have to say i am so used to boys now and I just love my baby boys so much that I really don't think it will matter if we end up with all boys. Don't get me wrong I do want a girl still, but I will be okay if I don't have one. I am starting to feel a little overwhelmed with all the parties we will be having in the next 3-4 months. I need to get on the ball with the planning on all of them. We have the gender reveal which will be either right before Christian's party or right after it. Then we have Christian's 4th birthday party on November 6th, our Christmas party on December 17th and then Jaxson's 1st birthday party on January 14th. I have already at least got the themes down for the birthday parties. I just need to get decorations for them and finalize the menus for all the parties. Plus I need to get on Etsy and get Shirts for the boys for their parties and the gender reveal and the Christmas party. Luckily I am starting to have more energy and motivation to get these done. I have decided that no matter what I am having I am not going to do any room changing until after Jaxson's 1st birthday. I want to be able to enjoy his first Christmas and his first birthday and not be trying to do too many things and get distracted. I will have most of january, all of february, and pert of March to get ready for baby #3. That should be plenty of time! Well, I am so glad to have one trimester down. I have to say it actually went surprisingly fast overall!

12 Weeks

I am 12 weeks pregnant today! I am almost out of my first trimester. I am going with my weight from yesterday which was 136 lbs. I am not happy about this but hopefully I can do better in the next 4 weeks. I am still wearing my regular clothes which is good and I don't feel like I am showing yet. Some things are a little snug but I feel like it is from being bloated more than anything. My boobs have been hurting quite a bit the last few days. My morning sickness seems to have lessened some and is more sporadic. I will be glad when it is all the way gone. I have gotten lucky this time and have only thrown up twice so far. I threw up last Friday night, because I didn't eat soon enough. I am glad that the sickness is becoming more manageable. I am starting to have a little bit more energy and not sleep as much. I still go to bed by 10:00 and I sleep until 8:00 a lot of the time, but I am at least not taking a nap every day on top of that. I will say that I haven't been sleeping very good at night. I wake up around 2:00 and can't go back to sleep for several hours it is very frustrating. I have also been having really bad headaches at different times through out the day and night. I normally don't ever have any aches and pains, but when I am pregnant it seems like everything just falls apart. I have got to pick up Tylenol because all I have is Ibuprofen, so I haven't been taking anything for my headaches. My cravings have been really random so far. I haven't started craving just one thing in particular other than milk. I always drink a ton of milk when I am pregnant! Sweets have been sounding better to me than usual and steak has not sounded good, which is weird. Everyday I am in the mood for something different and some days there is nothing that sounds good. I am dying to know the sex of the baby. We are no closer on deciding on a boys name. We have decided to use Albert as a middle name if it is a boy, so then it will be named after my grandpa Folz. If it is a girl We will most likely go with Savannah Gail, so then it will be after my mom and our Aunt Susan. My mom's first name is Gail and Susan's middle name is Gayle. We will save Charlotte June for our second daughter if we have one. As far as a boy name goes I love Hudson and Jason hates it. I of course don't like any of the names Jason picks out. I think if it is a boy we are going to need lots of help at the gender reveal party with suggestions. Another symptom that I forgot to mention is that my face seems to be breaking out more this time than it has in the past. I normally never have any break outs and now I have ended up with a few here and there. Jason and I have been trying to get some things done around our house lately also. I am trying to get rid of clutter and things we don't need or use any more and jason has been doing just some odd and end maintenance stuff. My goal this fall is to have everything cleaned out and organized in this house from top to bottom, that way this winter we can start rearranging rooms for the baby. I am thinking about making my storage room into a play room, but I don't know if we can afford to loose the storage space. I plan on getting a lot done when Jason is on his hunting trip this year. I have also got to get caught up on my photo books. I am trying not to let it bother me that I have fallen so far behind in that category, but I can't help it. I just have not had the desire to sit down and make them. I need to make a list of everything I need to get done in the next 6 months and start tackling each thing one day at a time.

End Of First Trimester Doctor's Appointment

Today I had my end of first trimester doctor's appointment. I was super nervous going to the appointment. I will forever dread that first appointment for the fear that their won't be a heartbeat. When I checked in they didn't have me on the schedule, so that made me nervous. It turns out that the computer forgot to save my appointment. It wasn't a big deal because luckily they were having a bit of a slow day. We still had to wait about 10 minutes in the waiting room, which normally is no big deal at all, but I was so anxious and nervous that I was about to go nuts. Jason took me to the appointment and we brought the boys with us. We haven't made too big of a deal about me being pregnant to Christian in case this appointment didn't go well. When they called me back I got weighed first and I was not thrilled with those results at all. I gained 3lbs. since my last appointment I weighed in at 136lbs. This is 2 lbs. heavier than when I was pregnant with Jax at this point. I am hoping to start feeling better soon so I can eat better. Right now only certain things at certain times sound good and unfortunately they usually aren't real healthy. I have had quite a sweet tooth lately also. I have been walking at tristate but I need to start back doing yoga and group power. Those classes really were helping get me back in shape and toned. After I got weighed Paula the nurse took my blood pressure and then it was time to wait for Dr. Leinenbach. She didn't take too long getting to the room and when she came in she was so excited for us. I told her how nervous I was, so she hurried and got out her doppler so we could here the heartbeat. When she first put it on my stomach she picked up my heartbeat because my heart was beating so fast and hard from being nervous. It didn't take long and she picked up the baby's heartbeat also! I was so relieved. She said the heartbeat was in the 160's. This is what Jax's was also at this appointment. I should find out if it is a boy or girl in about 8 weeks. That makes the date November 7th and this means we probably won't be able to do the gender reveal party until November 19th. It is going to kill me to have to have to wait that long! Dr. Leinenbach also said that she would induce me a week early like last time, because everything just went so perfect that way! It looks like we will be have our third child somewhere around the 20th, 21st, or 22nd of March. She will set it up when it gets closer to time. She also said the my hemoglobin levels looked really good. She said that sometimes when someone has two babies close together like this that they can run the risk of being anemic. I had no idea about this! One funny thing that happened was after we heard the heartbeat Jason took the boys out to the waiting room, so I could finish my appointment with Dr. Leinenbach. She had to do my yearly exam while I was there. Well, I sat all of my clothes in the car seat not thinking and when Jason got up to leave I never thought anything about it. When Jason got out to the waiting room he realized that he had all my clothes so he had to give them to Paula to give back to me. We were cracking up! It is a good thing he realized when he did otherwise I would have been stuck in the room with no clothes! I think that sums everything up for my appointment. I am so relieved to have that over with. I go back in 4 weeks to hear the heartbeat again! Hopefully I will do better on my weight gain the next time!

11 Weeks

I am 11 weeks pregnant today. I weighed in at 133 lbs. today which is good. I have to say I am a little worried though. I haven't been feeling nearly as sick the last couple of days. I felt really sick on Friday and then it seems like each day since then I have felt better. This is what happened the time I had the miscarriage except that it did start earlier in the pregnancy. I think it started at about 9 1/2 weeks. I know overall I haven't felt as sick this time as I did with Christian or Jax. I will say that if there is a heartbeat on Monday when I go to the doctor I am going to have to say that I think it is a girl. My face has broke out more this time than it did with the other times. I felt sick for a few weeks but not for months like I did with the boys. When I first found out I was pregnant I wanted steak, but after I had it the first time it hasn't sounded good since. In fact there have been times that it didn't sound good at all and that is so not like me or at all like when I was pregnant with the boys. I have to say also that the heartbeat at the first ultrasound was super fast I don't remember what Christian's heartbeat was at his appointments, but I know Jaxson's was never that high. I know all of this could be nothing and I could still have a boy even if the pregnancy is different. I am just so anxious to get through this week so I can quit worrying about my appointment on Monday. I am ready to start telling more people and start planning for our third child. I have been hesitant to do anything in case we get bad news. I will say one other thing that is a little weird is that my boobs have not hurt this whole time and just today they started to hurt a little bit. The nurse practitioner had told me that it was normal since this pregnancy is so close to the last one that their isn't much changing going on so their wouldn't be much sensitivity. I am glad that I am still wearing my regular clothes and I don't feel like I am showing yet. I am mostly just more bloated feeling. I am hoping to not have to wear any maternity clothes for as long as possible. I am definitely not buying any maternity clothes this time. I am counting down the days until Monday so I can breathe easier.
